ABOUT THIS WEBSITE
This website has been designed to show our range of kit staircases as simply as possible.
We believe that some websites are over complicated and are stuffed full of too much information.  The navigation of this website has been purposefully designed for ease of use.
Each model is displayed with some pictures, some basic technical information and a price.  At the bottom of each model listing are several downloads to help you understand the product, plus a link to email or phone the office.
We have intentionally not created an ecommerce site for these kit staircases.
Although the kits are fairly straight forward to understand, there is certain additional technical information to know before making a purchase.  Many of our customer are buying a staircase for the first time so it is extremely helpful to talk with our sale team about the range before making a decision.
You can email - sales@kitstairsystems.co.uk or call the office directly on 01794 522444.  We also have a showroom displaying a few of our kit staircases in Romsey, Hampshire.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY
We are Complete Stair Systems Ltd, a company established to offer self builders and property developers a wide range of specialist designer staircases in kit and bespoke forms.
We have searched Europe to find the best products to complete our range.  Our main website - www.completestairsystems.co.uk features all these products but this website is dedicated to our kit staircase range.
We have been involved with the ARKE range of kit staircases since they arrived in the UK at the turn of the century.  We know each system inside out and have sold several hundred over the past 10 years throughout the UK.
CHOOSING YOUR STAIRCASE
With kit staircases generally being forms of secondary access, the limiting factor is often space when choosing your staircase.  The available space you have will determine the type or stair you can have or rather rule out the ones you cant.
The most crucial information is the opening in your floor -whether this is square / rectangular or circular.  If you browse through the range and then call the office - 01794 522444 we can tell you the opening requirements for each model.
It might be you already have an opening in place or that you are creating open specifically for the staircase.  We can advise you on this.
Some of the models (Klan, Kloe, Kompact and Komoda) have links to a drawing program where you can enter the relevant dimensions to check the layout and orientation of your staircase.
MEASURING UP
All the kit staircase are adjustable so the actual site measurements are not as 100% as important as they would be for a bespoke staircase.  They are however still worth checking to make sure the chosen kit will fit and be useable.
The Kompact and Komoda have adjustable riser heights and going depths and all the spirals have adjustable riser heights.  The standard 'off-the-shelf' kit has 13 risers which is sufficient for 90% of floor to floor heights but if your height is more that 3m you will need to purchase additional risers / treads.
The two most important elements to measuring up is the floor to floor height and the opening size.  Please remember to take into consideration any finishes going on walls and floors.
You can use the drawing configurator using the link on the Klan / Komoda / Kompact and Kloe pages or you can sketch what you have and fax / email / post it across to us.  You can always phone us directly and talk us through the measurement you have taken.

PLACING AN ORDER

Once you have established that the staircase you want will fit in the opening you have and be usable you will need to contact the office to place your order.

Remember to think of any additional items you might need such as matching landing balustrade around the opening, additional treads (for larger floor to floor heights) and riser bars.  Then just confirm the colour of the steelwork and the finish of the timber.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (without adding a fee) apart from Amercian Express. You can post a cheque payable to Complete Stair systems Ltd or arrange a bank transfer.  We will provide our bank details upon request.

DELIVERY

As all the kits are stocked in Italy, delivery usually takes around 2-3 weeks.  The timescale is extended at Xmas time and around the anual August factory shutdown.

Each staircase kit is dispatched in a palletised box and is delivered in a vechicle equiped with a pump truck / tail gate.  The Transport company will call you directly when it arrives in the UK to book in a delivery day.
